UI Copyright Application for Computer Program Works (Software) is submitted in the following manner:

Through a Cover Letter from the Faculty (Dean), Head of Program (Vocational, Postgraduate) addressed to the Director of Innovation & Business Incubator UI by including the name of the applicant's PIC, the applicant's contact number, and the applicant's email address, with the following attachments:

  • 1 software CD
  • 1 softcopy and hardcopy of usage manual / source code
  • Softcopy and hardcopy of identity card/creator (KTP, SIM or Passport).

UI COPYRIGHT REGISTRATION PROCESS

A. COPYRIGHT APPLICATION

Researchers submit applications through a cover letter from the faculty.

B. REVIEW OF COPYRIGHT APPLICATIONS

DIIB UI determines the IP potential of the submitted work/research.

CDI PREPARE AND COMPLETE REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS

  • Completing Copyright registration documents.
  • Prepare a Letter of Transfer of Rights and submit it to the Applicant.
  • The applicant submits the complete signed Letter of Transfer of Rights.
  • Complete documents/Ready to be registered.

D. COPYRIGHT REGISTRATION WITH THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF KI, MINISTRY OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

  • Submit Copyright registration online.
  • Payment for Copyright Applications via Bank.

E. ISSUANCE OF CREATION REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE

  • Issuance of Creation Registration Letter 2 to 3 days from submission.
  • Submission of the Registration Letter of Creation by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property in the form of a soft copy.
