Internship Requirements as an Elective Course 3 Credits

  1. Internship period between 2 – 3 months. However, other durations may be allowed if the targeted company/institution provides sufficient assignments to assess student performance during the internship.
  2. Assessment techniques:
    • At the beginning of the internship, after a supervisor has been appointed at the internship agency, the Study Program will send an internship assessment form to the supervisor. Submission of forms can be done via email and/or through the student concerned.
    • At the end of the internship period, the internship agency will return the completed form to the study program (via email or the student concerned). Therefore, please provide the supervisor's contact to the study program as soon as possible after the internship begins.
    • At the end of the internship period, each student is required to make a written report, individual in nature, (following the template example provided by the study program), bound, and submitted to the study program, regardless of other provisions that apply at the company/agency where the internship took place.
    • After the written report is submitted to the internship supervisor team, students are required to make a presentation in front of the internship supervisor team, with the schedule and duration of the presentation to be determined later.
  1. Supervisor Each internship student will be accompanied by a supervisor appointed by the Study Program. Students can consult related to assignments given at the institution/company where they do their internship and writing internship reports. The consultation mechanism is based on an agreement between the student and the supervisor.
  2. The final internship score is based on the assessment of the institution/company and the assessment of the supervisory team, with assessment weights as stated in the internship assessment form.
  3. Internship gradeswill be calculated as the grade for the internship/Field Work Practice course in semester 7 (PTA 2019/2020), regardless of the internship implementation time.
